Founded in 1978 Human Rights Watch is an organization that is formed to protect and defend human rights. The organization conducts thorough research in more than 90 countries and search for any sort of crimes or violations against human rights. The one who violates the human right is held accountable. For the past 30 years, HRW has been working devotedly to achieve justice for human rights to implement a noticeable change around the world.

They have a team of professional lawyers, journalists, country experts, and people from academics having strong backgrounds. According to the annual journal World Report, HRW catches criminals accountable for their actions with the help of media coverage. The organization not only protect human rights and look after uncertain practices that take place against human rights, but it also stands with those who are human rights activist for eliminating discrimination and preserve freedom rights for humans as well. They have also alarmed the government and authorities holding power to stop violations against humans and to work in accordance with the international human rights law.

They are funded by individuals privately all around the world and do not depend upon the government. And to maintain being a non-governmental organization they strictly avoid taking any sort of benefits or money from the government. The HRW is accelerating accordingly and is now using satellite technology to observe and expose any violence in the nearby regions, as this helps in determining the major changes before and after the conflict.

Human rights are essential for all human beings to live a violence-free and freedom full life. Find out about the modern concept of individual human rights with EHRC WEB.
